Wilke doubles up with win at Red River Valley

WEST FARGO, N.D. (June 9, 2023) – The inaugural swing for the Superior Customs Red River Sprint Series continued Friday night at Red River Valley Speedway. 

Trevor Serbus and Tye Wilke took home heat race wins with Morgan Nyquist and Ty Hanten sharing the front row for the main event. 

Hanten lead the opening circuit while fourth-place starter Tyler Rabenberg and sixth-place starter Tye Wilke ran second and third, respectively. 

Rabenberg peaked to the inside of Hanten in turns three and four on lap two, but Hanten held off the charge to hang on to the lead. 
Rabenberg came back at Hanten on lap four and brought Wilke with him as the three ran three wide for the lead off turn two. Wilke went from third to the point as Rabenberg moved into second. 

Once out front, Wilke quickly checked out. 

Wilke went on to take his second win of the week and the 8th Sprint Car win of his career.
